no,this was not today,actually we had a few,but no photos and nothing like this either.the waves at santa catalina have actually been weak for two weeks now,best days so far the 5th Jan and yesterday/today.soon the southern hemisphere will start sending us the goodies,feb ,march and april are usually the months with most perfect waves,for the size starts coming and its full off-shore season.the first photo is one of the biggest days I surfed here,an honestly I was taking off on the smaller ones,once in a while a set would come that was just unreal,20-25 foot faces,but no one was handling the sets.

the second photo was taken for sure also around march a few years ago,that´s a very normal size for that season. SANTA CATALINA PANAMA IN MARCH ROCKS

here I am again,after a long absence,we did not have internet at santa catalina,and been surfing and diving in coiba island a lot.Panama is still sweet!!!

we saw whale sharks already like 20 times since christmas,here is a photo

been a while since my last entry,been busy with opening a dive operation,suposed to start 1st november.
just got a few websites from a guy that was moving his dive operation to another country.

they all talk about diving in coiba island,which is a national park in panama.
also today my board hit my head surfing santa catalina and had to had it superglued.the waves were quite good,anyway.take care

these are some photos from a day of surfing last week .It was kind of crowded but managed to get a few.Surfed only an hour or so but people that stayed out told me the off-shores stayed around and few sets came trough that were over-head
